At Sculptfitness, we believe in having the best trainers who specialize in their fields.

 

Joel

Joel is a certified Fitness Instructor and received his certification from Fitness Innovations Malaysia (FITM). He is passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goals. He has been conducting personal training sessions for a number of years.

Shashi

Shashi is a FISAF certified personal trainer with a Diploma in Sports Science. Shashi has 8 years experience working with the needs of a wide range of clients.

As well as personal training, Shashi also teaches Circuit group fitness class.

Ernest

Ernest graduated from University of Toronto in 1986 with a major in Sports Sciences and Club Management for the School of Physical & Health Education.

He has been doing triathlons since 1986 wherein indoor cycling formed part of his training regime and the principles of indoor cycling which is used for his own personal training is translated into the manner he conducts his spinning classes namely focusing on strength, power and endurance which now is complemented with developing of bone density.

He believes that Fitness is about changing lives and always challenges participants to live outside their comfort zone. In short “You cannot live an extra-ordinary life by making ordinary choices”

Fay

Fay is a Fisaf certified group fitness instructor with over 13 years of teaching experience. She is a certified mat pilates instructor of the Stott Pilates method. A versatile and innovative instructor, she teaches a number of class formats, including step training, circuit, pilates, yoga, and functional strength conditioning using equipment such as the stability ball, mini stability ball, barbell and TRX.

Fay is also an Advanced practitioner of the Rolf Method of Structural Integration, with over 1250 hours of training. She commenced training in the U.S. in 2003, completed certification in 2005 and advanced certification in 2011. She works on a 1 to 1 basis with clients to address structural imbalances and postural / spinal patterns that create pain and discomfort. The thorough study of musculoskeletal anatomy and kinesiology required for this practice translate directly to all the fitness classes she designs. Using this knowledge, she provides exercise modifications for the beginner to the advanced, so that all participants can be safely challenged at their level.

Suraya

Suraya is a certified group instructor by ACHPER (Australian council for health, physical education and recreation). She is a well-experienced group class instructor with background in Cardio-Dance, as well as strength and core training classes utilizing the fitball, weights, resistance bands and others. She is also franchised and certified by Jazzercise and currently offers Jazzercise classes at Sculptfitness several times a week. Suraya also conducts a challenging core and lower body strengthening class “Butts + Gutts”.

Her enthusiasm and encouraging words will make any fitness newbie feel welcome and at ease. There is no mistaking her passion for exercise and she is here to help you get there and have fun along the way.

Seng

Seng is a dynamic and energetic personality with over 2000 classes to his credit. Although he made a relatively late start into the fitness industry, his innovative style and boundless energy never ceases to entertain participants, and keep them coming back for more. Seng also makes it a point to keep abreast with correct technique and new developments on the Spinning scene.

Morna

Morna is a new instructor who has recently been certified by Jazzercise.

Mevis

Mevis is a certified Zumba® Toning, Zumba® Step, Zumba® Sentao and Aqua Zumba® instructor and her classes are highly energetic and so much fun that every class feels like a party! Her class participants leave in a light and happy mood. Expect an energy boosting and calorie torching workout!

Lily

Lily has been teaching since 2003 and her dynamic personality and passion for yoga is infectious. Her classes are constantly evolving and her long time students have progressed over the years with her guidance. With her encouragement, her students have been able to go beyond their own expectations.

Lily is certified by the National Fitness Council from The Ministry of Youth and Sport Malaysia. She has also attended Flow Yoga Teaching Training course in 2008 and Iyengar Yoga Teacher’s Training Course in 2012.

Choon

Choon has been practicing yoga for 7 years and has been teaching for the past 5 years. He is a certified yoga teacher and did his teacher training with Y Synergy.

Choon’s style of teaching is inspired by Iyengar and he places emphasis on correct alignment and muscle engagement. His classes are slower paced but expect to work hard with more mental focus and awareness. He also teaches a faster paced class drawing inspiration from Ana Forrest who is the creator of Forrest yoga.

 

Koo

Koo is a certified yoga teacher and has been teaching for 7 years. She obtained her certification from Ysynergy which is accredited by Yoga Alliance from the United States.

Koo teaches Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow which is very energizing and strengthening. Students find her classes very fun and energetic because of her creativity in her yoga classes.  Her easy going nature and sense of humor often brings liveliness to the class and students feel very comfortable practicing with her.

Linda

I started learning to dance at a very young age and majored ballet in university.
When I first encountered yoga a few years ago, I truly realised that it is more than a sport, it is exercising with the “heart”. I fell in love with it immediately.
Throughout the practice I met a lot of fabulous instructors. And I was so grateful I can complete a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training with Patrick Creelman in 2009, a truly wonderful experience in my life.
In my class, I hope my students are able to sense the integration of body and mind while practicing the asanas, with the practice they can feel, explore and find out about their own bodies and minds, in order to love themselves more.
Always keep in mind,practice with soft heart, sharp mind & vibrant body. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
